Job Summary
This role is for an IT Specialist focused on supporting and advancing operational deployment and information technology within the intelligence department of the Ministry of Interior, Municipal Affairs, Housing, and Sport in Schleswig-Holstein. Day-to-day tasks involve optimizing intelligence information technology for operational information gathering, integrating new technical components into existing IT infrastructure, and participating in inter-state working groups. The specialist will also be responsible for process optimization, network structure encryption, and supporting IT systems (First Level Support). The ideal candidate will have a background in IT system integration, strong knowledge of network structures, wireless networks, and operating systems, and a keen interest in political contexts and security. Experience
- • Professional experience in information technology (desired, preferably in a security authority)

- Willingness to work flexible hours and be available outside of service hours as required
- Interest in political contexts and security implications
- Understanding of the specific needs of an intelligence service
- Willingness for continuous internal and external training and associated travel
- Discretion and reliability are paramount
- Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance check with security investigations (Ü 3)
- Consent to a query in the intelligence information system NADIS if selected for an interview
