Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Technical Assistant to join the Department of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry at Paris Lodron University Salzburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently analyzing biological materials for drugs, medications, and ethanol using advanced techniques such as HPLC, GC/MS, LC/MS, UV spectroscopy, and immunoassays. A key part of the role involves developing and evaluating new analytical methods for emerging psychoactive substances and designer drugs. Beyond laboratory work, the assistant will support practical courses and training for legal and executive bodies, manage analytical data, and oversee laboratory supplies.
