As an Applied Scientist in the Size and Fit organization, you will leverage Zalando's extensive datasets to conduct cutting-edge research and develop game-changing size and fit advice for over 50 million customers. This role involves applying advanced deep learning techniques, particularly Vision Language Models, to solve complex sizing challenges in online fashion retail. You will be responsible for proposing, leading, and deploying bold initiatives from development to production, contributing to the scientific roadmap through external publications, and mentoring junior scientists. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of applied science leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will deliver state-of-the-art deep learning solutions and identify new growth opportunities, ultimately shaping a superior online shopping experience for millions.
