Job Summary

This role is for an Aerospace Electronics Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic modules for aircraft, adhering strictly to aviation standards like DO-254 and DO-160. The engineer will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and prototype commissioning to series production, focusing on safety-critical circuits and documentation. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing diverse circuit solutions for sensor evaluations, microcontroller systems, and power supplies, as well as planning and evaluating development and verification tests. The position requires close collaboration with system engineering, mechanics, manufacturing, and software teams, playing a crucial role in ensuring compliance and certification for serial production within an international project environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on Aerospace Electronics

Experience

  • At least five years of professional experience in the development and application of aerospace electronic systems
  • Proven experience in qualifying safety-critical (DAL) components, modules, and systems, including relevant standards and verification processes
  • Experience with complex PCB development
  • Experience working in a Requirement Based Engineering environment
