Job Summary
This role involves contributing to crucial environmental protection efforts, specifically focusing on safeguarding water from pollution and protecting communities from floods. Day-to-day tasks include investigating causes and remediating soil and groundwater contamination, evaluating chemical and physical data, and conducting on-site inspections in water protection and flood zones. You will also assess water management parameters for facilities, manage data entry, and assist in reviewing construction designs for water supply and wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate will possess a certification in environmental protection or civil engineering, strong IT skills, and a C1 level in German. Required Skills
Education
Certified Technician in Environmental Protection or Civil Engineering, or Chemical-Technical Assistant, or comparable qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience within an environmental or water management administration (desirable)
- Safe handling in open, sometimes rough terrain and working in rough terrain with necessary equipment
