Job Summary

This is a pivotal role for a pioneering and proactive leader to strategically re-establish the Medical Technology department at a major hospital in Northern Germany. The successful candidate will leverage at least five years of industry experience, ideally in healthcare, combined with public sector knowledge, to transform the department into a profit center. Key responsibilities include leading a 15-member team, optimizing cross-departmental processes, establishing cost accounting, and managing technology partnerships. Given the increasing network integration of 15,000 medical devices, a strong focus will be on implementing KRITIS and Cyber Security requirements and integrating IT expertise for application support (PACS, RIS, PDMS, CIS).
