Job Summary

This role offers a dedicated IT Support Specialist the opportunity to join an 8-person team in Hürth, Germany, providing essential 1st and 2nd-level IT support. Day-to-day, you'll be the primary contact for IT inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and manage Windows server environments, user accounts, devices, and mailboxes. A key aspect of the role involves developing the ELO document management system, supporting process design in BLP Designer, and configuring Palo Alto Firewalls and Microsoft Exchange. You will also be responsible for onboarding new colleagues, setting up their IT equipment, and collaborating with internal departments and external service providers. This position offers a permanent contract, a supportive team environment, and a long-term perspective in a varied IT landscape where support and system administration tasks are intertwined.

Required Skills

Education

Completed IT apprenticeship or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support (1st and 2nd Level)
  • Routine handling of Windows environments
  • Experience with firewalls (ideally Palo Alto)
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange
