Job Summary

As a Patent Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and safeguarding VARTA's intellectual property within the innovative energy solutions market. Your daily tasks will involve advising departments on patent law, conducting patent searches, and assessing the protectability of new technical developments. You will also be responsible for defending VARTA's patents, monitoring competitor IP, evaluating invention disclosures, and calculating inventor compensation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with management, technical departments, and external patent attorneys, playing a key role in licensing activities.
