Job Summary

This role involves managing general and collective bargaining-related HR matters for academic, artistic, and support staff at the Technical University of Braunschweig. The HR Specialist will advise managers and employees on labor and collective bargaining law, support selection processes, maintain personnel files, and manage HR data in SAP-HCM. This position offers an interesting and varied role within a pleasant work environment and a motivated team, contributing to the university's mission to provide excellent education and research. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of labor law and HR management to ensure smooth HR operations for approximately 3,800 employees.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Public Administration (Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt (FH) or equivalent Bachelor's), or completed Administrative Examination II. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a field with a focus on administrative, economic, or legal sciences (preferably with a focus on Human Resources Management).

Experience

  • Professional experience in personnel and university sectors (helpful, not mandatory)
  • Experience with SAP HCM (helpful, not mandatory)

  • Temporary contract until June 15, 2027. Full-time position, though suitable for part-time but must be fully staffed. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome.
