Job Summary
As an IT System Planner for Linux System Environments, you will be instrumental in advancing and managing the city's critical IT infrastructure. Your daily tasks will involve the administration and ongoing development of Linux server environments, including the Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat IDM systems. You'll also be responsible for initiating procurement processes, drafting technical specifications, and creating BSI-compliant operational documentation. Required Skills
Education
• Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) in Computer Science or Business Informatics • Or equivalent qualifications (e.g., IT Specialist) with comprehensive relevant skills and at least one year of relevant professional experience • Or civil servant (3rd QE / Higher Service, Natural Sciences and Technology - focus on Administrative Informatics) • Or civil servant (3rd QE / Higher Service, Administration and Finance) with at least three years of relevant professional experience and comprehensive relevant skills • Or Certified Administrative Specialist (Fachprüfung II) with at least three years of relevant professional experience and comprehensive relevant skills
Experience
- Professional experience in Linux system administration and development
- Professional experience with containerized and virtualization environments
- Professional experience in scripting and version control environments
- Professional experience in conceiving and introducing system environments
- Professional experience with server and storage hardware
- Professional experience in network technology
