Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity for 30 highly motivated Doctoral Candidates to join the interdisciplinary CRC/TRR 417 consortium, focusing on understanding and therapeutically targeting the tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer. Day-to-day, the successful candidates will engage in functional cancer research, exploring various aspects of cellular communication within the colorectal cancer stroma, from the role of CAFs and vascular cells to the microbiome and immune cells. The positions are integrated into a structured education program, providing extensive networking opportunities and mentorship within a vibrant, international research environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cancer research, offering a chance to contribute to overcoming resistance to immunotherapies and improving the lives of CRC patients.
