Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious junior leader to manage a small production unit within a traditional chemical products manufacturer. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, lead the production team, and drive the introduction of new products. A key focus will be on strategic plant development, emphasizing efficiency, quality, and modern production processes to enhance competitiveness. This includes managing preventive maintenance, planning new and modernizing existing facilities, and implementing standardized metrics. The role involves initiating and leading optimization projects, managing interdisciplinary teams, and working closely with senior leadership to achieve production goals. It offers significant scope for design and active support for professional and personal development within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry (preferably with a doctorate) or (Industrial) Engineering with a focus on Process Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in medium-sized, internationally oriented companies within the chemical industry
- Experience as a department or area manager, or in a deputy production management role
- In-depth practical knowledge of chemical process engineering and relevant process flows
- Experience in leading successful modernization projects
- Ideally, knowledge of production logistics
