Job Summary
This role involves leading control system projects for highly automated production lines and robotic applications, primarily within the kitchen furniture industry. The Project Manager will oversee the entire technical lifecycle, from electrical planning and hardware to PLC programming and commissioning, ensuring projects adhere to technical specifications, timelines, and budgets. Key responsibilities include coordinating project progress from kick-off to final acceptance, managing interfaces with mechanical engineering, and supporting procurement processes for all control system components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and social competencies, with a proven track record in machine control system development and commissioning. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training and further education as a state-certified technician in Electrical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable vocational qualification/further education; alternatively, a successfully completed university degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in the design, specification, development, and/or electrical construction (E-Plan) of machine control systems
- Experience in switch cabinet construction, machine installation, and/or PLC/application programming
- Relevant expertise in commissioning machine control systems, measurement systems, and drive technology for operating equipment or linked special machines
