Job Summary

This role is for an IT Specialist or Laboratory Engineer to manage and enhance the computer labs and IT infrastructure within the Business Informatics lab complex. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and development of Microsoft Windows and Linux environments, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data and information security. A key part of the role involves supporting students, staff, and researchers in utilizing IT lab resources, including assisting with practicals and exercises. You will also create technical documentation, participate in IT projects, and identify new technologies to integrate into the labs to support research and teaching. This position offers an opportunity to shape the IT landscape of an academic program, work autonomously within a supportive team, and contribute to the academic development of students.
