Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Polymer Chemist to drive the development of novel, polyester-based plastics for a fast-scaling deep-tech startup. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing polymer formulations and polymerization strategies, defining desired polymer properties, and designing synthesis routes from R&D to 100+ kilogram scale. Day-to-day tasks include leading analytical workstreams, collaborating with process engineers and external partners, and developing sustainable plastic products for applications like extrusion, injection molding, and 3D printing. The position requires advanced expertise in polymer chemistry, hands-on experience in polycondensation and polymer processing, and familiarity with various analytical methods.
