Job Summary
This Senior Network & IT Security Engineer role offers a dynamic opportunity to shape and secure the IT infrastructure for one of Germany's largest private education groups. You will be instrumental in planning, operating, and evolving the central IT infrastructure, managing external service providers, and leading technical projects. A key focus will be on identifying and defending against cyber threats, contributing to strategic security planning, and maintaining network hardware across approximately 70 locations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an IT environment
- Several years of experience in the administration of switches, firewalls, and WLAN networks
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity and motivation to integrate it into daily work
- Experience with process automation
- Motivation for continuous self-development and development of the responsible subject area
