Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of manufactured parts by measuring stamped and plastic components as well as inspection gauges. Your daily tasks will involve developing measurement strategies and fixturing concepts, overseeing coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and profile projectors, and creating tactile and optical measurement programs for both series production and project phases. You will analyze and document measurement results, conduct capability studies, and coordinate inspection equipment management, including monitoring and calibration. Additionally, you will train workers on metrology topics and support complaint resolution and inspection process optimization.
