Job Summary

This is a pivotal opportunity for a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead a four-person team within Magic Leap's Perception group, focusing on the critical systems that collect real-world sensor data and ground truth for advanced XR devices. This data is essential for validating core perception features like head and eye tracking, depth estimation, and object tracking. The role demands a versatile leader who can balance technical strategy, roadmap setting, and hands-on production coding in Python and C++. You will architect data collection tooling, manage operations across two specialized labs (featuring OptiTrack, LiDARs, and robot arms) located in different geographic regions, and serve as the primary technical contact for internal clients.
