Job Summary

This PhD position at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein focuses on cutting-edge research within the SFB TRR 418 project, investigating how ultraviolet light-induced autoimmunity in the skin is regulated by the circadian clock and its potential therapeutic applications. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for conducting and maintaining in-vivo lupus erythematosus mouse models, as well as performing in-vitro cell culture experiments. Key duties include collecting and analyzing phenotypic, transcriptomic, and mechanistic data from these models. This role requires close collaboration with a second PhD student and the broader SFB Circadian Medicine research network, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant advancements in immunology and circadian biology.

Required Skills

Master's degree in Biology or a related bioscience field

Experience

  • Experience with animal models is desirable, but not required
