Job Summary

This role involves leading and facilitating all Agile meetings, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, to ensure effective team communication and collaboration. The Scrum Master will coach and mentor team members in Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Key responsibilities include managing sprint plans and backlogs, analyzing automated reports from Jira/IBM RTC, and collaborating with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog and refine user stories. The successful candidate will help the team define 'Definition of Done' and 'Definition of Ready,' proactively remove impediments, track team velocity, and ensure incremental delivery of user stories. Working within a SAFe framework, the role requires close collaboration with the Release Train Engineer and other Scrum Masters to ensure cross-team coordination and achieve shared objectives.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar qualification with an IT background. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (advantageous).

Experience

  • At least 3 years as a Scrum Master with a strong understanding of Agile methods, especially Scrum
  • Professional experience in evaluating and configuring ticket management systems like Jira or IBM RTC
  • Experience working in a scaled agile environment (SAFe framework) (desirable)
