Job Summary
As a Senior Applied Scientist in the Size and Fit organization, you will leverage unique datasets to conduct innovative research, developing game-changing size and fit advice for over 50 million Zalando customers. This role involves applying expertise in state-of-the-art Generative AI and Computer Vision models to drive the scientific roadmap and create cutting-edge GenAI products. You will be responsible for proposing, leading, and building bold initiatives from development to deployment, contributing to external publications, and mentoring junior scientists. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and forge partnerships with product managers and stakeholders to deliver advanced GenAI solutions that enhance the online clothes shopping experience.
Required Skills
Education
Ph.D or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Experience
- 2+ years of research experience in a university or industry setting, with a primary emphasis on AI research
- Extensive research experience in developing, evaluating, and deploying GenAI and Computer Vision models
- Experience implementing software and executing complex experiments involving large AI models and datasets
