Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive project management and technical execution within the field of electrical and automation engineering for critical waterway infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include developing concepts and designs, preparing tender documents, and managing contracts for the replacement and maintenance of electrical systems along the Main, Main-Danube Canal, and Danube rivers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating automation technology concepts and coordinating complex repair projects with various stakeholders, including other waterway authorities, engineering firms, and contractors. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to essential public infrastructure, working on diverse and challenging projects with a focus on cutting-edge automation and electrical systems.

Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical and automation technology
  • Experience in managing technical projects
