Job Summary

As a Service Technician specializing in rail vehicle safety systems, you will be responsible for the technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and electromechanical components, including both hardware and software. Your daily tasks will involve diagnosing and resolving issues with train control systems like ETCS, LZB, and PZB, performing wiring checks (continuity, insulation, and voltage tests), and meticulously documenting all test and measurement results. This role requires a high degree of independence, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to understand complex technical interrelationships. The position is attractive for skilled electricians or mechatronics professionals who are eager to work on cutting-edge rail technology and are comfortable with frequent travel within their assigned region.

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable technical vocational training

Experience
