Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Commissioning Engineer specializing in PLC and automation technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of PLC programs and software solutions for clients in the machine and plant engineering sector, requiring both domestic and international travel for up to 2-4 weeks at a time. Key responsibilities include conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), performing feasibility studies, estimating effort, and supporting departments with troubleshooting. A crucial part of the role involves planning and conducting customer training sessions. This position offers a dynamic environment for someone passionate about solving technical challenges in automation, eager to learn, and skilled in communication and presentation.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed training as a Technician in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Initial to good experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or other automation systems
- Experience with Fieldbus technology (e.g., Profinet, Profibus)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems (preferred)
- Professional experience in PLC programming and solving technical challenges
