As an IT Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT systems, hardware, and software components. This involves installing, configuring, maintaining, repairing, and rolling out IT client systems across various platforms, including peripherals. You will troubleshoot and repair IT systems, manage IT system relocations, and prepare systems for disposal. Additionally, you will handle the initial setup and handover of mobile devices and create comprehensive system documentation. This role requires strong technical skills in client-side hardware and software, familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, and an understanding of Linux-based systems and network environments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Technician, Systems Electronics Engineer) or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT environments, preferably larger ones
- In-depth hardware and software knowledge in client systems including peripherals
- Experience with current Microsoft operating systems
- Overview knowledge of Linux-based systems
- Overview knowledge of server and network areas in heterogeneous networks and virtualized infrastructures
- Experience in hardware rollout in difficult-to-access locations
