Job Summary

This role is for a Field Technical Sales Engineer specializing in fluid sensor technology and diagnostic systems, covering the Stuttgart, Reutlingen, Ulm, Tübingen, and Schwäbisch Gmünd regions. The successful candidate will empower customers to implement complex applications using high-quality products, acting as a key technical contact for both sales colleagues and clients. Responsibilities include conducting application evaluations, supporting sales teams in customer projects, assisting with diagnostic system parameterization, and actively contributing to new product launches and existing solution development. The role also involves designing and leading workshops and product training sessions. Ideal candidates will have a background in automation or electrical engineering, with significant professional experience and strong communication skills.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified technician in Automation Technology or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in automation technology
  • Desirable experience in after-sales service or with complex products
  • Ideally, knowledge in Condition Monitoring or Vibration Monitoring
  • Experience with interfaces/field communication (Ethernet/Profinet)
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal
