This role involves hands-on work with advanced meteorological instruments, including C-Band weather radar systems, radiosonde stations, and wind profilers. Day-to-day tasks will include planning installations, independently performing technical repairs, maintenance, testing, and calibration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or communications technology, be a certified electrician, and possess the physical aptitude for demanding tasks, including working at heights. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a driver's license, willingness to travel for business, and participation in an on-call system. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology OR relevant completed training in Electrical Engineering/Communications Technology

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical installations, maintenance, testing, and calibration of C-Band weather radar systems, radiosonde stations, wind profilers, and wind shear measurement systems
  • Experience as a certified electrician
