Job Summary

The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization (MPI-DS) in Göttingen is seeking highly motivated and excellent Doctoral Researchers to join the Department for the Physics of Living Matter (LMP). In this role, you will engage in theoretical and/or computational research focusing on non-equilibrium statistical physics and active matter, under the supervision of Professor Ramin Golestanian. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to fundamental scientific research within an international, interdisciplinary, and collaborative environment. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (or equivalent) in Theoretical Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines from a recognized university

Experience

  • Strong interest in non-equilibrium statistical physics and multi-scale physics of living systems
  • Ability and desire to work in an international team on interdisciplinary research topics
