Job Summary

The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization (MPI-DS) in Göttingen is seeking several Postdoctoral Researchers to join its Department for the Physics of Living Matter (LMP). In this role, you will engage in theoretical and/or computational research focused on non-equilibrium statistical physics and active matter. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge scientific understanding within an international, interdisciplinary, and collaborative environment. Required Skills

Education

Doctorate (or equivalent) in Theoretical Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines from a recognized university

Experience

  • Experience in non-equilibrium statistical physics
  • Strong interest in active matter physics
  • Ability and desire to work in an international team on interdisciplinary research topics

Additional

  • The position is a full-time, fixed-term contract for two years. Start date is flexible. Must be able to work in Göttingen, Germany.
