Job Summary
This role involves supporting the organizational, operational, and administrative processes within the student services of the International Department's Graduate Schools, including the Karlsruhe School of Optics and Photonics, Hector Fellow Academy, and Exzellenzcluster 3D Matter Made or Order. The officer will assist in the recruitment and selection of Master's students and junior researchers, manage applicant communication, pre-assess applications, and provide ongoing support to students throughout their studies. Key responsibilities also include planning, organizing, and evaluating professional development and networking events, often in collaboration with industry partners. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented organizational talent with a Bachelor's degree, at least two years of professional experience, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience with AI-powered tools and CRM systems is a plus. This position offers a varied role in an international university environment.
