Job Summary
The Project Manager will play a critical role in the planning and execution of the Air2030 program, Switzerland's largest defense procurement initiative. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading, planning, steering, and coordinating medium-complexity procurement projects across various technical domains. A key function involves overseeing sub-projects within major initiatives, creating detailed planning and control documentation, including schedules, resources, risk, cost, and quality plans. You will monitor project progress against the Air2030 Masterplan, identify critical dependencies, and develop planning scenarios in collaboration with subject matter specialists. This role requires generating key planning metrics for program oversight and continuously developing planning methodologies. This is a unique opportunity to apply advanced planning expertise to strengthen Swiss air defense and contribute to a nationally significant program.
Required Skills
Education
University or Technical College Degree (FH/HS) and completed IPMA Certification
Experience
- Demonstrated multi-year experience in planning execution for projects successfully managed using the Waterfall methodology.
- Professional experience in project management planning methods.
- Proven strength in translating complex relationships into appropriate presentations for various management levels.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to find joint solutions.
