Job Summary
The City of Bochum is seeking a dedicated IT Specialist for their FLS Backoffice within the Desktop Support division. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, performing initial error analysis, troubleshooting, and processing incoming service requests. A key part of your day will involve creating and classifying trouble tickets within the Matrix42 ServiceDesk system, ensuring adherence to defined processes and service level agreements (SLAs). You will provide essential IT support to users, both remotely and on-site, and meticulously document all work results and procedures. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a customer- and solution-oriented approach, who is eager to continuously learn and contribute to a modern public administration.
Required Skills
Education
IT Technician certification or comparable training, ideally a certified IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker)
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in telephone support (desirable)
- Experience with ticket systems (desirable)

- This is a temporary position for 1.5 years. Willingness to continuously learn and develop. Strong interest in IT topics. Customer- and solution-oriented approach. Cooperative and team-oriented.
