Job Summary
This role involves training aspiring chemical laboratory technicians, with a strong focus on instrumental analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating training sessions and practical exercises, imparting both theoretical and practical knowledge. A key aspect of the role is developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for training and instructing on various sampling techniques. The position requires hands-on experience with a range of analytical instruments, including Gas Chromatography (GC/GC-MS), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/LC-MS/IC), Infrared Spectroscopy (IR), Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS), Polarimeters, Photometers, and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, a responsible approach to work, and a passion for teaching, contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or a degree in Chemistry/Analytics. Ideally, trainer qualification (AEVO).

- Professional experience in chemical laboratory training or instrumental analysis
- Experience in developing training materials (SOPs)
- Experience with specified analytical instruments
