Job Summary
The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking an experienced IT Application Specialist with expertise in SAP ABAP development and application management to join their IT department. This role involves managing and coordinating the technical integration and operation of various SAP applications for the accounting departments. The specialist will consult with internal departments, define requirements, create technical concepts, and collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners. Additionally, the position includes providing last-level support by analyzing and resolving technical issues and contributing to daily operations and interdisciplinary projects, supporting the bank's journey towards becoming a digital central bank. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2027, based in Düsseldorf or Stuttgart.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in (Business) Informatics, or comparable knowledge gained through extensive professional experience, preferably combined with a completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist or System Integrator).
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development and customizing within SAP standard modules (SAP ERP ECC and S4 HANA)
- Several years of professional experience in Application Management, including comprehensive technical and organizational support for applications across various technology areas (e.g., Web, Client-Server, Cloud, SaaS), ideally in the accounting sector

- Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2027. Work location in Düsseldorf or Stuttgart. Full-time position (part-time possible). Must be eligible to work in Germany.
