Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Project Manager specializing in geotechnics and environmental projects, focusing on site remediation and waste management. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing proposals and expert opinions for brownfield sites, contaminated areas, and old landfills, as well as developing remediation concepts. Key duties include technical supervision of contaminated site remediation, handling acute and insurance damage cases like oil leaks, and coordinating work in contaminated areas according to DGUV-R 101-004/BGR 128. The position also involves waste declaration and classification, sampling of demolition/excavation materials and industrial residues, and groundwater/surface water sampling. Additionally, the role requires planning and supervising concrete and asphalt investigations, client management, and new business acquisition. Required Skills
Education
Technical-natural science degree from a university or technical college (e.g., Geoscientist - Geologist, Mineralogist, Geographer, Environmental Engineer, or similar)
Experience
- Professional experience as a Project Manager in geotechnics and environmental fields
- Experience as an expert according to § 18 BBodSchG (desirable)
