This role is for a Scientist specializing in Strategic Collaborations within Advanced BioAnalytics, focusing on identifying, developing, and integrating new microscopy/imaging technologies, bioprocess engineering, and advanced cell models into Sartorius's growing bioanalytic portfolio. The successful candidate will lead external partnerships, conduct strategic R&D for next-generation core technologies like live cell imaging and cytometry, and conceptualize prototype technologies. The position requires close collaboration with product management and development teams to define technology research priorities and guide technical staff in creating advanced cell models. Required Skills

Education

PhD in Life Science or closely related field with comprehensive formal training and experience in Bioanalytics and 3D Cell Systems

Experience

  • Extensive experience in coordinating academic projects involving academic and industrial partners
  • Experience collaborating with multiple partners in R&D projects
  • Good knowledge of current developments in live-cell imaging, spectroscopic imaging, and cytometry technologies
  • Ability to communicate with professionals across biological, mechanical, electrical, software, sensor, and chemical engineering disciplines
  • Professional experience in analyzing complex topics
