Job Summary

This role is for a Civil Engineer within the Saxon State Property and Construction Management (SIB) in Leipzig, focusing on temporary coverage for a sick leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading construction projects for the Free State of Saxony and third parties. Key tasks include overseeing engineering, traffic, and landscape planning, as well as geotechnical and surveying services. Daily activities involve managing external consultants and contractors, reviewing planning documents, cost estimates, and invoices, conducting site inspections, and handling warranty and change order management. The position requires strong project management skills, in-depth knowledge of German construction regulations (HOAI, VOB), and proficiency in relevant software.
