Job Summary
This role involves taking charge of comprehensive work packages within large-scale grid expansion projects, focusing on the preparation, support, and management of public law approval and permitting procedures, such as planning approval procedures (Planfeststellungsverfahren) and those under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). The Permitting Planner will coordinate internal and external service providers, manage interfaces with internal departments like easement and crossing management during the approval phase, and conduct discussions with authorities, citizens, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities also include coordinating and quality-assuring approval documents, managing ancillary provisions, and negotiating with landowners and other public entities. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental studies or a related field, possess experience in managing large infrastructure project approvals, and demonstrate strong project management skills.

Education
University degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Spatial Planning, Geography, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in supporting permits and approval procedures for large infrastructure projects
- Experience in project management (IPMA certification is an advantage)
