Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join an innovative IT company in Zurich on a temporary contract with the option for permanent employment. You will be instrumental in providing 1st and 2nd level support, managing incidents, requests, and changes in accordance with ITIL standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include classifying, prioritizing, and tracking tickets using an ITSM system, performing initial diagnoses, and implementing solutions remotely or via workarounds. Furthermore, you will handle field support duties such as the installation, maintenance, and rollout of workstations and peripheral devices. You will also maintain system and user documentation and actively participate in diverse IT projects. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT education, several years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, client/server environments, and Microsoft 365. Excellent German skills are mandatory for effective communication and customer service.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist (EFZ) or comparable IT education.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT Support (1st/2nd Level)
  • Proven ability to perform first diagnosis and resolve disturbances via remote access or workarounds
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, and rollout of workstations and peripheral devices (Field Support)
  • High customer and service orientation
