Job Summary
As an Observability Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's observability strategy, ensuring that monitoring initiatives align seamlessly with IT operational and overarching business objectives. Your daily tasks will involve developing and implementing the enterprise-wide observability strategy, overseeing the establishment and enhancement of monitoring solutions, and building systems for proactive performance monitoring to measure service quality. You will collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and business stakeholders, define SLAs and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement of standards. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification. Relevant certification (e.g., Dynatrace Cloud Platforms) is ideal.
Experience
- Many years of experience in IT Operations, Performance Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience with IT operations, preferably in an outsourcing or managed service organization
- Experience in building SaaS-based and On-Prem service delivery concepts
