Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the operational planning of power generation plants to ensure intelligent and resource-efficient operation, while maintaining thermodynamic parameters within Dresden's district heating network. The successful candidate will independently manage and direct operations within the power plant park during continuous shift work, utilizing modern control systems and software tools for monitoring electricity, gas, and heat. A key aspect of the role is contributing to the energy transition in the heat sector by developing processes, software, and operational concepts, alongside assisting in operational fault and emergency management. This position offers a stable, full-time opportunity within a large energy provider, contributing to essential infrastructure services.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (e.g., Energy Technology, Thermodynamics, General Mechanical Engineering) or Master/Technician qualification. Open to career changers.
