Job Summary

This role at the University of Rostock involves conducting cutting-edge research in physical chemistry, specifically investigating structure-dynamics relationships in colloidal particle mixtures with the aim of achieving a PhD. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing core-shell colloidal systems, performing and analyzing light scattering and rheological experiments, and publishing research findings. Required Skills

Education

University degree (State Examination, Diploma, Master, or comparable degree) in Chemistry or a comparable field with at least a good result

Experience

  • Experience in the preparation and characterization of colloidal model systems
  • Applied knowledge in conducting and evaluating static and dynamic scattering experiments and rheological experiments
  • Experience in publishing scientific results
  • Experience in supervising student exercise groups (desirable)
