Job Summary
This role involves serving as the Deputy Head of the Freudenstadt office within the State Water Management Operations (Landesbetrieb Gewässer) of the Karlsruhe Regional Council. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing and coordinating various water management and flood protection projects, including the supervision of rehabilitation measures at the Nagold Dam. Key responsibilities include acting as a technical point of contact for external engineering firms and construction companies, coordinating expert assessments, and supporting colleagues during flood emergencies. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of working independently and adapting to new technical areas within water engineering and flood protection. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects in a multidisciplinary team.

Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or a comparable field
- Experience in water engineering and water management is advantageous
- Experience with fieldwork and outdoor activities
