Job Summary

This role involves providing critical customer support as a Firewall Administration Engineer for Airbus Secure Land Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, installation, and maintenance of firewall and network infrastructure solutions, ensuring a high-performing and stable network. Key duties include analyzing and resolving complex network issues through incident management, performing change, release, and configuration management, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. The position requires strong expertise in network and firewall administration, including knowledge of TCP/IP, IP-Sec, and routing protocols. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification; or completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician

Experience

  • Long-term experience as an IT Systems Electronics Technician
  • Professional experience with DXT systems (Nokia) is ideal
  • Extensive experience in planning and administration of network and firewall infrastructures
  • Solid experience in network technology and TCP/IP
  • Strong experience in network troubleshooting
