Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements on individual parts and assemblies within the automotive sector, utilizing both CNC and manually controlled measuring machines. Your day-to-day will involve mounting gauges and fixtures, developing measurement programs, generating test reports, and performing component tests on tools, articles, and milled parts. A critical aspect of this role is the analysis, evaluation, and documentation of measurement data, which you will communicate effectively with production departments. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of delivered and produced components and assemblies by adhering to instructions and overseeing necessary quality assurance measures. This position requires a strong quality consciousness, the ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD datasets, and a commitment to upholding both internal and customer quality standards.
