This role involves operating and commissioning high-voltage components on modern test benches, ensuring reliable test procedures. The Test Engineer will expand and maintain HiL test benches, optimizing the test infrastructure, and will be responsible for preparing, executing, and evaluating control unit tests to ensure system functionality and safety. Key tasks include programming and implementing test cases and sequences to simulate real driving situations, along with creating detailed documentation and managing fault resolution for comprehensive traceability. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, information technology, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with professional experience in HiL testing, strong analytical skills, and a structured approach to work.
