Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Software Architect to design and implement the software foundation for advanced simulation control stations, instructor operating stations, and flight training debriefing stations. You will be responsible for defining the overall technical architecture, including codebase organization and system interfaces, while ensuring scalability and maintainability. A key part of the role involves designing intuitive user interfaces using a custom Qt/QML framework. You'll also develop, test, and maintain robust code, debug issues, and participate in agile development processes and code reviews. This position requires strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders, mentor junior engineers in Qt/QML, and collaborate effectively within an international team, contributing to cutting-edge aerospace projects with Airbus.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in software development with a focus on frontend/UI applications
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex software architectures in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with modern DevOps pipelines, containerization, and agile software development methodologies
