Job Summary
This role at ekom21, a leading IT service provider for the public sector in Germany, focuses on providing expert application consulting and support for the emeld21/VOIS software in the Resident Affairs department. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for clients, handling 2nd-level support, analyzing issues, and developing optimization proposals. Responsibilities also include ensuring the smooth operation and legal compliance of the software, conducting customer training and workshops, and contributing to software testing and development. This position offers an opportunity to leverage expertise in public administration processes and IT to deliver critical services to over 500 public sector clients.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or completed vocational training in IT or administration
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in customer and product management or in a resident registration office
- Expert knowledge in the organization and processes of citizen service centers
- Expert knowledge in administrative law, registration law, passport and ID card law, and DSMeld
- In-depth knowledge of the emeld21/VOIS registration software, including registration, passport and ID card services, XMeld, BZR/GZR, and addresses & areas
