Job Summary

This role involves meticulous data acquisition and documentation for the transport and processing of radioactive waste materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating transport accompanying documents, managing data within the waste flow, tracking, and product control system (AVK), and ensuring data accuracy through updates, corrections, and plausibility checks. A key aspect of the role is the archiving of electronic copies of essential documents, including manufacturer information and loading protocols, within the data management system. Additionally, the technician will be involved in adapting and creating simple SQL statements. This position requires a background in engineering or related technical fields, experience with radioactive materials, and strong data management skills, offering a crucial role in nuclear waste management.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technician training in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Technology, Radiation Protection, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields

Experience

  • Professional experience in the application of waste flow tracking and product control systems (AVK)
  • Professional experience with radioactive materials
  • Experience with ECM or DMS systems (e.g., Windream)
  • Experience with JEN's AVK system (preferred)
