Job Summary

This full-time Laboratory Engineer role, located in Munich-Pasing, involves a dynamic mix of field and lab work within the stones and earths industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing monitoring, inspections, and sample collections for various construction materials, including asphalt mixing plants. A key part of the role is the creation of material recipes, data analysis using mathematical-statistical methods, and comprehensive report writing for both routine tests and scientific investigations. The position also entails active participation in research committees to advance norms and technical testing regulations, contributing to research projects, and supporting the Chair of Building Materials. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a background in civil, construction materials, mechanical, or materials engineering to contribute to a leading research and testing institute in Germany.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (FH/HS diploma) in Civil Engineering, Construction Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a comparable field

Experience

  • • Professional experience in processing and in-house production control in the stones and earths industry and asphalt production
